Command and Control Technologies Joins Trex II Consortium

Command and Control Technologies Corporation is now a member of the Training and Readiness Accelerator II Consortium (Trex II). CCT hopes to bring our years of experience in range control and instrumentation and hypersonic systems test in support of the Trex II mission.

The Training and Readiness Accelerator II consortium is a collaboration executed under an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to address critical modeling, simulation, and training (MS&T) issues affecting national security.

Virginia Commercial Spaceflight Authority Awards Command and Control Technologies Phase II Contract to Upgrade Pad-0A at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport

The Virginia Commercial Spaceflight Authority has awarded Command and Control Technologies Corporation (CCT) a contract for the modifications to Pad-0A at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, Wallops Island Virginia.  CCT will design and implement pad modifications to support the new Northrop Grumman A330 launch vehicle and the new Firefly/Northrop Medium Launch Vehicle (MLV).  CCT will update pad control hardware and software to process the new configurations.

The Pad-0A Universal Ground Control System (UGCS) is based on CCT’s Command and Control ToolkitTM product line and provides highly automated procedures for critical functions including vehicle fueling, cryogenic handling, high pressure gases, transporter erector supervisory control, and electrical ground Support equipment.  Designed to be readily adaptable to new requirements, the UGCS provides a flexible environment for multi-vehicle processing and rapid response operations.

Air Force Awards Contract to Command and Control Technologies Corp. for Research into Improved Techniques for Testing Hypersonic Systems

Command and Control Technologies Corporation has been awarded a contract from the Air Force at Arnold Engineering Development Center for research into new techniques for measuring Mach numbers in Hypersonic flows.  The contract will research new probe designs for measuring Mach numbers in very high temperature hypersonic flows. The new probe design will expand the state-of-the-art in hypersonic facility flow calibration by directly measuring the velocity profile, which is currently not possible with existing testing methods.

Command and Control Technologies Begins Support for New Antares 330 Medium Lift Vehicle

Command and Control Technologies Corporation (CCT) has begun initial update of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport Pad 0A control systems in preparation for support of the newly redesigned Northrop-Grumman Antares 330 Medium Lift Launch Vehicle.  Under contract to the Virginia Commercial Spaceflight Authority, CCT will modify existing pad control systems to support upcoming vehicle design changes.

Modifications will be made to support the newly designed first stage which incorporates Firefly, Inc. Miranda engines and composite first stage structures and tanks.  These replace previous Russian and Ukrainian components making the Antares 330 fully American made.

Pad control systems will be upgraded to support concurrent first and second stage fueling operations and incorporate designs for long term supportability.

Antares performance upgrades will enable Antares 330 to continue to support the current Cygnus space station resupply mission as well as planning for future mission capabilities.

CCT has supported Antares launch operations since inception and looks forward to continuing support through the life of the program.
