Command and Control Technologies is currently under contract with Northrop Grumman Space Systems to upgrade the Antares Orbital Commodity Control System (OCCS) Flight Ground Support Equipment (FGSE) at Pad-0A to support the new Northrop Grumman Antares 330 (A330) and Medium Lift Launch Vehicles (MLV).
Based on CCT’s Command and Control Toolkit product line, the OCCS has been used by Northrop Grumman for Pre-Launch sequencing of the Antares launch process. The OCCS is being upgraded by CCT to support the new processes required for processing the new Firefly first stage and Castor second stage. This requires the addition of new command and control hardware and software infrastructure to support multiple Antares 330 and MLV configurations.
OCCS upgrades will support new process automation for A330 and MLV ground operations including critical launch sequencing such as Lox and RP-1 tanking/detanking, and monitoring launch vehicle and payload system health to verify go/no-go requirements. The OCCS manages the entire per-launch sequence ensuring safe and efficient automation of critical processes.
2Upgraded OCCS functionality will support launch operations for multiple configurations of the A330 and MLV Vehicles
