Air Force Awards Contract to Command and Control Technologies Corp. for Research into Improved Techniques for Testing Hypersonic Systems
Command and Control Technologies Corporation has been awarded a contract from the Air Force at Arnold Engineering Development Center for research into new techniques for measuring Mach numbers in Hypersonic flows. The contract will research new probe designs for measuring Mach numbers in very high temperature hypersonic flows. The new probe design will expand the state-of-the-art in hypersonic facility flow calibration by directly measuring the velocity profile, which is currently not possible with existing testing methods.
