April 15, 2008...1st Stage of Douglas Sector Fusion Command Upgrade. CCT completed the 1st phase of an ongoing upgrade to our Arizona Automated Border Surveillance System for DHS. Some of the major enhancements include Incorporation of our Threat Advisory Expert System and enhanced Common Operating Picture.
April 12, 2008...NASA Solicits Information for Command and Telemetry Software. CCT recommends the Command and Control Toolkit in response to a NASA call for information on flexible Command and Telemetry software to Support Constellation C2.
April 1, 2008...Cryogenic Liquid Fueling Facility Testing is Underway. The WFF Cryogenic Liquid Fueling Facility (LFF) is undergoing final integration and testing at CCAFS Launch Complex 20. CCT's automated fueling control system is part of the LFF and expected to start test later this month.
April 1, 2008...Army Sensor Data Link Enhanced. The Army RDECOM/CERDEC Night Vision Lab expanded CCT's existing support contract to integrate support for Army mobile surveillance platforms with ongoing evolving Sensor Data Link capabilities. The lab is using the CCTK architecture framework to integrate sensors and systems for C2 situation awareness.

Mark 6 -7, 2008...Joint Force Protection Assessment. Rodney Davis, CCT Chief Technology Officer, observed the Joint Force Protection Assessment activities being held at Eglin Air Force Base by invitation from the JFP Program. CCT's C3I Surveillance Toolkit is being considered for inclusion in the the Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) later this year through 2009.

February 3, 2008...CCT Demonstrates Generative Gateway Technology for Honeywell - Glendale. Greg Hupf, CCT Principle Investigator, was at Honeywell Space Systems in Glendale Az to demonstrate the Generative Gateway Toolkit (GGTK). GGTK was developed by CCT under SBIR funding from the Air Force Research Lab and NASA to provide interoperability between heterogeneous C3I systems.

October 4, 2007...Army Lab To Use Command and Control Toolkit for Control and Monitoring of Tactical Sensor Network. The Army RDECOM CERDEC kicks-off a new project to use the CCTK architecture framework to integrate the evolving Sensor Data Link being developed by the Night Vision Lab. Specific Army focus includes adaptation of CCTK to provide a Common Operating Picture for surveillance, sensor control and monitoring, and threat tracking. The Army chose CCTK because of the extensible suite of modular C2 components and features, as well as its flexibility in adapting to unique sensor and surveillance requirements.

August 29, 2007...Generative Gateway Toolkit Demonstration for AFRL. CCT demonstrated the Generative Gateway Toolkit technology for the Air Force Research Lab at Rome Labs as part of wrap-up activities for the Phase II SBIR "Generative Gateway Toolkit for Heterogeneous C3I Systems". Typically referred to as "GGTK", the Generative Gateway Toolkit is being developed by CCT to enhance the approach to creating tactical data link gateways. The demonstration included composition and autogeneration of a complete working tactical data link gateway from an easy to use graphical IDE.

June 29, 2007...WFF Gets New Range Control Systems. Continuing its long time relationship with Command and Control Technologies Corporation, NASA and Honeywell-TSI at Wallops Flight Facility recieved three new range safety C3I situation awareness systems from CCT. The new systems will be used in the Wallops Flight Factility Range Control Center for sensor acquisition, sensor fustion/corrleation, missile tracking, and range safety situation awareness. The systems are based on CCT's Command and Control Product Line.

April 24, 2007...Successful NFIRE Mission at Wallops Flight Facility. An Air Force Minotaur 1 rocket was successfully launched from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Va.. The four-stage rocket carried the Defense Department’s Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Near Field Infrared Experiment (NFIRE) satellite. The event was also significant to CCT becuase it marked the 1st certified orbital mission out of Wallops useing their new Range Control System provided CCT. The new system integrates and fuses the various range sensory data sources providing a real-time common operating picture for Safety personnel to monitor missions like NFIRE. The range safety system is based on CCT's Command and Control product line.
March 26, 2007...Canaveral Port Security Forum. Congressman Feeney and Weldon hosted a public discussion on the current state of Port Canaveral Security and directions for the future. Several representatives from area/port businesses and the community were present and participating in the discussion. Balancing the needs for increased terrorism protection while sustaining port business growth were prominent focus topics.

NASA is considering using the CCT developed GGTK technology as part of their ground command and control systems strategy under NASA's new Exploration program.

Continuing its long time relationship with Command and Control Technologies Corporation, NASA and Honeywell-TSI at Wallops Flight Facility began aquisition of a series of Range Data Acquisition System Upgrades to migrate its UNIX based mission critical range safety systems to Enterprise Linux. This migration will demonstrate a key aspect of the new Range Systems flexibility, allowing the range to adapt to new, more supportable technologies over time without significantly altering the Ranges investment in its decision support software architecture.

As part of the NASA Exploration Program, NASA's major centers are collaborating to develop the next generation of command and control capapbilities that will support space launch missions through 2030. NASA is evaluating CCT's Command and Control Product Line as part of their effort to consider the best that industry has to offer in design of the new Exploration systems.
