First Half Revenues Double at CCT
TITUSVILLE, FL. With new customers and increased sales to existing customers,
unaudited Command and Control Technologies Corporation (CCT) revenues in the
first six months of 1999 reached $917,000, a 100% increase over sales of
$458,000 in the year-ago period. Net earnings increased over 400% from $15,000
in the first half of 1998 to $79,000 in the first six months of 1999. Product
sales and turnkey systems development contracts accounted for virtually all of
the increase, reflecting the company's strategy to focus on commercial products
and services.
"The sales increase reflects the space industry's growing recognition of the capabilities of CCT products and our improved capacity to market our message," said Kevin Brown, Vice President of Business Development. "Key industry players continue to increase spending on launch site automation. This trend is perfectly aligned with our business plan to capitalize on the $75 billion space industry by making space transportation far more affordable with airport-like ground operations, a message welcomed by industry."
CCT has a backlog exceeding $2 million. Total 1998 revenues were $1.4 million.
Command and Control Technologies Corporation specializes in control systems for launch vehicles, spaceports, and spacecraft.
