CCT Applications - Launch Control & Automation

CCT's founding members sought to create a company that would help launch vehicle designers with new visions and operations concepts achieve their goals of fully commercial launch operations by providing cost effective and highly adaptive ground operations automation.

DeltaClipperSmallShadowCCT built a line of products and a team of engineers that shared these goals. As a result, CCT is now positioned to help commercial launch vehicle designers and operators dramatically reduce upfront cost of ground systems software using tools and processes that enable efficient operations. This can be accomplished without the need to adopt existing complex approaches employed by existing launch ranges while still maintaining the highest degree of safety and reliability.

CCT has proven it is possible to:

CCT provides software tools for developing and upgrading space launch control systems and launch ranges, spaceport analysis services, and turnkey systems for automating space transportation operations. The CCT team has advanced the state of the art in spaceport systems across the aerospace industry, including work with NASA, the U.S. Air Force, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and private spaceports. The team's experience with Delta, Atlas, DC-X, X-33, Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, the Eastern Range, NORAD, AFSCN, and a host of other projects is unmatched in the industry. As a result, the CCT team of launch site automation specialists is prepared to help design and build your ground command and control applications.

CCT products form the core of the launch control system at Complex 20 of the Cape Canaveral Spaceport. Based on the Command and Control Toolkit (CCTK) and the T-Zero sequencer, the system supports mission planning, flight analysis, mission simulation and training, vehicle and payload integration and test, launch countdown sequencing, ignition control and hold fire, timing management, range safety interfaces, and instrumentation control.

Launch centers at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Alaska and the Wallops Flight Facility in Alaska also rely on CCT products like the Command and Control Toolkit and Spaceport RangeNet. These systems provide range safety interfaces, tracking and impact prediction, facility monitoring and control, and data interfaces to other launch range systems.
